Occupational Health and Safety Policy of SAGA Poland Sp. z o.o.

The occupational safety and health policy as an integrated part of the management policy of Saga arises from our care for maintaining a high standard of safety, healthcare and social conditions.

We perform tasks related to this approach with respect to applicable law and other requirements, aiming at the following objectives:

  • preventing accidents at work, near-miss incidents, occupational diseases and emergency situation, as well as reacting immediately in case of their occurrence;
  • constant improving and taking measures in terms of occupational health and safety, healthcare and fire protection;
  • ensuring ergonomic and comfortable workplaces.

For performance of those objectives we ensure:

  • organisation of work in a manner ensuring safe and healthy work conditions,
  • availability and observance of provisions of law and other requirements,
  • constant estimation and limitation of occupational risk related to threats at workplaces in cooperation with an external OHS and fire safety entity,
  • efforts made for constant improvement of safety conditions at workplaces,
  • involvement of all employees in responsibility for own safety and safety of others by conducting regular formal dialogues with the staff and making them aware that safety is a matter of all the staff at every level of the organisational structure of the company
  • constant improvement of employees’ qualifications by regular trainings in terms of safety and health issues
  • conducting regular audits of safety, analysis of the result and taking preventive and corrective measures
  • proper financial, technological and technical resources.

This policy has been announced and understood, is implemented and generally available for all interested people, inside and outside the company as our employees and our guests have the right to feel safe.
